How I work
Like everyone, my history shapes how I see the world and how I work.
I’m both a psychotherapist and a systems thinker. With master’s degrees in computer science and psychotherapy, my work bridges two disciplines that might seem far apart - but to me, they’re deeply connected. Both are about understanding complex systems, creating structure and bringing order to chaos.
I’ve always been curious about people - about how family, culture and society shape us and how the systems we’re born into influence the lives we build. My background in linguistics adds another layer to this curiosity: the words we choose to describe ourselves and others shape not only how we think, but also what we believe is possible.
At the heart of my work is a belief in evolution - that we are all here to grow, to unfold and to become the most authentic versions of ourselves.
My mother used to say, “everyway does,” and perhaps this is why I’m drawn to a pluralistic approach: one that’s collaborative, flexible and centred on what works best for each client. I draw on a range of psychological models and frameworks, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Choice Theory, psychodynamic approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the humanistic work of Carl Rogers, the depth psychology of Carl Jung, Transactional Analysis and Bowlby's Attachment Theory.
Each session is shaped not by a single method but by your needs, your story and the possibilities we discover together.
